Teach English in Israel and make a personal impact on Israeli high school students. Help students build their confidence in spoken English through one-on-one conversation, while becoming part of a local Israeli community and experiencing Israel from a new perspective.
You will have 8 days to:
✦ Teach English one-on-one to Israeli high school students and help them build confidence in speaking.
✦ Volunteer in a local high school for five days, working with the same students throughout the week and creating a meaningful personal connection.
✦ Become part of a local Israeli community through encounters with residents, community hospitality, local tours, and cultural experiences. Experiencing Israel beyond the typical tourist experience.
Do I need to be a teacher? No.
Do I need teaching experience? No.
Do I need to speak Hebrew? No.
Who will I teach? Israeli high school students.
Will I work with the same students? Yes, 3-4 students throughout the week.
What happens outside school hours? Community encounters and educational activities.
What background check do I need? Country-specific instructions will be provided.
